Nigerian Police Sends Strong Warning To Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB Secret Service Army

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) is sending a warning signal to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, over the latter’s alleged setting up of a security service.

The police said the Biafran security outfit was illegal and would not be condoned.

Voice of Ndigbo learnt that the warning was issued by Adeleye Oyebade, the police commissioner in charge of Abia state, while he paraded some suspected criminals.

Nnamdi Kanu was recently pictured inspecting the guard of honour set up by the alleged security body.

Oyebade warned that Nigeria cannot have a republic inside it and that the police would ensure Abia is crime-free.

The AIT reports that Nnamdi Kanu has reacted claiming that IPOB set up the Biafran security service to ensure the safety of the people in the south-east.

Nigerian Army recently said it was addressing the issue of a Biafra force reportedly being mobilized by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

The reaction followed the emergence of a video in which Kanu was seen inspecting a group of men called the Biafra Secret Service (BSS).

The footage showed some of the purported BSS officers dressed in black attire and red beret. Kanu could be seen walking around and in between them, inspecting what can be described as a guard of honour.
