Femi Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister and foremost critic of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration, has reacted to the return of the Nigerian leader after over 103 days on medical vacation in the UK.
Fani-Kayode praised the anti-Buhari protesters who organised a vigil in London on Friday, August 18 for reportedly ‘chasing’ the President from his London ‘hideout’.
Sahara Reporters tweeted details of the President’s departure just hours after presidential media adviser Femi Adesina announced news of Buhari’s imminent arrival.
Voice of Ndigbo had earlier reported that just hours after President Buhari received the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Adeboye, anti-Buhari protesters held a vigil outside the Abuja House in London.
Adeboye’s visit to the ailing president was less than 24 hours after the president was visited by the senate president, Bukola Saraki and the speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
