“Also we need the approval of Imo state to host the 6th edition of the national deaf football championship in 2018 as well as restructuring of the dying special education in the state. Relocating the deaf primary school from Wethedral road to a more safe and conducive leaning environment .

“We also need employment, allocation of plot of land and reopening of the office of the special assistant.”

The governor of the state, Rocha Okorocho did not come out to address the protesters and Voice of Ndigbo was unable to verify if he was in the government house at the time of the protest.

Meanwhile, Okorocha has said that governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are the best in the history of the country.

Okorocha who is the chairman of the APC governors’ forum said it was too early to judge the APC administration and begged Nigeria to give it time.

He reminded Nigerians that the party took over when the country was on the brink of a collapse.
