When Senator Dino Melaye, the senator representing Kogi West in the Senate launched his new book, ‘Antidotes for Corruption’ on May 15, 2017 at the Umaru Ya’Adua Centre, Abuja, Nigerians did not expect the attendance of a top dignitary in the person of Dame Patience Jonathan who was the former first lady of the country.
Her presence at the event raised many eyebrows, given the fact that both are from opposing political parties.
During the event, Voice of Ndigbo learnt that barely 30 minutes into the program, Patience Jonathan made a glamorous entrance into the arena. This was said to have led to a loud and resounding ovation.
The book, titled ‘Antidotes for Corruption’ is divided into 14 chapters with 600 pages.
