The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu on Friday, June 2, met with the president general of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo John Nnia-Nwodo.
Kanu and Nnia-Nwodo met in Egugu state during the IPOB leaders visit to Igbo elders in the state.
Sources within Kanu’s family told Voice of Ndigbo that the IPOB was in Enugu to discuss issues surrounding Biafra agitation and the way forward for the South-East region to achieve the proposed secession.
Voice of Ndigbo had earlier reported that the IPOB leader has since his release from prison met with various top Igbo leaders including activists, actors and former governors.
