Some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Kaduna state on Monday, May 22, burnt their brooms which is the symbol of their party, to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The ruling party has fought hard to get where it is today. However, it is facing a number of problems which it would have to solve if it will continue to rule beyond the current government.
Voice of Ndigbo recently obtained pictures of APC members in Bakin Kasuwa, Zaria, Kaduna state who burnt their brooms and joined the opposition party.

Earlier, it was reported that Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the ruling APC, has blamed the current crisis in the party on the activities of defectors from the PDP.
Galadima, a member of the national caucus of the APC and member of the party’s Board of Trustees, said this in a statement he released on Saturday, April 22.
He was reacting to claims by Okoi Obono-Obla, a special assistant on prosecution to President Buhari, that he was working against the interest of the ruling party.
