Don’t protest in Abuja, Police warn IPOB

FCT police says it would not allow the planned protest because IPOB is made of criminal elements

The Command said it would not allow breakdown of law and order in the country’s capital

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has warned the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) against its planned protest in Abuja.

FCT’s Commissioner of Police Musa Kimo issued the warning in a statement through the Command’s spokesman ASP Usen Omorodion in Abuja on Sunday, April 30.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Kimo said as a professional organisation, the command would not fold its arms and watch criminal elements hide under the guise of such protest to cause breakdown of law and order.

Kimo advised residents to go about their lawful duties without fear of molestation.
